The Foxton Beach Astronomical Society (FBAS) is located in Foxton Beach, Horowhenua, Lower North Island, New Zealand. Our members come from all over the Horowhenua and Manawatu.They range in experience from beginner to advanced

The Foxton Beach Astronomical Society offers
 
   -  a friendly social and learning environment

   -  offers talks and training

   -  learning opportunities in the night sky and use 

      of telescopes

   - a monthly newsletter

   -  observing programme

   -  loan of books, DVDs and equipment

                all at no additional cost to members.


MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS
Membership runs from 1st June to 31st May at the rate of $30 for waged members and $15 for unwaged (includes students and children). All members will receive a membership card.
